Project Ares Missions
Project Ares Missions are an assortment of attacks and breaches and so on. The user is presented with the information and their Mission Orders as well as a short video explaining the situation. The user must decide from the information given if they should attack as a red team or defend as a blue team. Each mission can be team based and you can pause a mission at any time.
Mission Play: Operating in the cyber range, your techniques are tested (individually or as a team) to complete a job that challenges your range of skills. Mission scenarios are in place to sharpen the skillset and master the techniques in order to solve a given cyber security problem set.
Battle Room: The battle room is where you really start getting your feet wet and getting your hands on keyboard in a small virtualized environment, maybe you’re focused on…
Lynex / windows / Forensics Or maybe you’re focused on a work role certification.
Every mission can be team based, each mission starts with a video like a CNN based store , “terrorist attack.” Depending on the information that is given you will then either have to defend or attack depending on the situation. The mission it self is going to talk about what skills do I need, and I can even invite a few people to come join me. To be sure you never feel rushed so you can actually learn in the process we have built in the ability to pause a mission and come back when you are ready.
Why would I chose a Gamified Cyber Security Training Platform to rain my employees?
The ability to look back after completing each game to see exactly what you did in real time has to be one of the most important aspects to the entire process. Never before has there been a real, and even better option to the traditional SANS course. You need to train your employees due to compliance but why spend all of the money on that when you can actually train them in a way where they will understand and retain the information.
SANS courses have been shown to have an average of 5 % retention rate across the board studies have shown in 2019. The military has proven over the years that a gamified platform for training is the most effective compared to every other method. Gamified Cyber Security training has been shown to have an average 50-55% retention rate as apposed to 5%.
What does that mean for you as the employer?
That means that when that attack does hit your network and it will. That your employees, your Cyber Warriors will be amply trained to handle anything that is thrown their way. As apposed to trying to remember what they learned a few months ago during that boring SANS course and reverting back to their notes and doing research to understand the attack... Seconds matter, and a well trained cyber engineer will be able to counter and remediate.
Is your business looking to infuse gamification into your cyber security training? It is beneficial to recognize what formulates the top performing game-based approach.

As a trainer I can make life easier or more difficult depending on how the person in the system is using it, so I can actually make changes inside the environment.
